I decided to go to a seminar to see how other peoples’ transplants had gone. And I have to admit I was very curious. When I walked in the door and saw the clients and what had happened, I said ‘God, thank you for bringing me to Dr. Epstein!’ They were really that good, and while I may be a little prejudiced because he’s done such a good job for me, I have to say that he really knows what he’s doing and he is an artist of the first rate.

When I say that I barely had 100 hairs left on my head, people just didn’t believe me. But when I pull out the pictures, their jaws drop. It has been that good, and the pictures just don’t lie.

And the truth is, losing my hair made me feel old. Having the hair gives me a sense of youthfulness -- and personally, I like heads with hair! I definitely prefer to have hair than not, and overall, the best way I can express my feelings is that I am completely happy… just look at the pictures and you’ll understand. People can’t believe it, even my barber couldn’t believe it when I first went in after the surgery. He couldn’t see the donor areas and just didn’t believe he was looking at transplants.

But they are! And it’s this good… definitely an ‘11’ on a scale of 1 to 10.
